It is good to see Kenya in the eyes of a visitor… I really like “Kenya is how are you? FINE” because that is just Kenya. And yes, it is a beautiful confused country that needs to open her eyes to how lovely it is to be here… The coast is a beautiful place with such a strong culture. Sometimes we say “najivunia kuwa mkenya” (I’m proud to be Kenyan) and sometimes we result to “navumilia kuwa mkenya” (I endure being a Kenyan), pushed by the corruption and high cost of living.

The app is great, but I prefer another one which is All-in Fitness with more exercises to work with and yoga and a pedometer.

I love your little snippet. Hits the nail on the head in most things. Loved “Kenya is a practiced allergy to seatbelts.” I griped so much about this in 2005, and again in 2009 but not much changes when it comes to seatbelts. I think it will take the next generation to come to terms with the true purpose of seatbelts.

Hi David,
I met Kate in the bar in Shephards Bush on the way to see Karen Elson at Bush Hall. We left her a copy of our just finished first album. We’re called ‘Hanks Cafe’.
Hope it found it’s way back to you. If you have time to listen and are able to review it, that would be great.
Basically the record company, promotions team, plugger etc is me and Julian!
Let me know what you think, and I will get in touch with Kate because I also work in a children’s centre that might be able to do something with ‘Oddtails’.

Hey, I’m in a band from Brighton and we have been going since 2004 despite only being 16 and 18 years old.

We have hundreds of gigs under our belt and recently recorded two new tracks. We really want to move up a level and getting thoughts of people in the industry at the moment could really help us to do so.

When we asked Dave to do our band biography, he provided us with a fantastic bit of writing that he had clearly put alot of research and effort into. It was only a couple of days after we had contacted that he replied with an amazing first draft, that he was happy to alter at our request.
